GETTING STARTED

Absolutely! We have taken every necessary precaution in ensuring that shopping online with us is safe, secure and easy. Contact us if you have any queries while shopping online with us.

As an online retailer, we do not have a showroom to display our full product range however African Sales Company does have a separate outlet store, The Authorised Fragrance and Cosmetic Outlet, which has a wide assortment of clearance beauty brands. Pricing and assortment is different to that on this website however products are priced below recommended retail pricing as they are categorised as clearance items.

PAYMENT

You can pay via credit and cheque cards, instant EFT, Zapper, Masterpass and SnapScan.

A common problem is if your account is not 3D Secure. If you have not ensured it is 3D Secured yet, please contact your bank and they will assist you in updating your account. This is for your own security when purchasing online. Payments over R20,000 can only be made via instant EFT when checking out.

We do not accept cash on delivery payments.

ORDER DELIVERIES

We offer a flat rate of R100.00 for all orders which amount to less than R450.00 (after promotional vouchers have been deducted), to anywhere in South Africa. All South African orders above R450.00 are subject to “Free Delivery” unless otherwise stated. Where “Free Delivery” is offered, no delivery charges will be for your account.

Our Click and Collect option in Johannesburg is free however a minimum order amount of R500 is required when selecting this option.

For Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana orders, a minimum order amount of R2000 is required and a flat delivery rate of R200 will be charged on all orders.

Where “Free Shipping” is indicated at checkout, it means that your order does not include any charges for delivering the order to you.

After your order has been completed at checkout, your order is processed, dispatched and our courier partners will collect your order for delivery, as per your delivery instructions.

For South African orders, please allow up to seven (7) – ten (10) business days for your order to be delivered, after it has been processed and dispatched from our warehouse.

Delivery to Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana may take longer – minimum ten (10) business days to be delivered, after your order has been dispatched.

All African Sales Fragrance Sale orders are delivered during office/business hours (09h00 – 17h00), Monday to Friday.

Unfortunately we do not offer Express Shipping.

We offer delivery in South Africa and specific areas in Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland and Botswana. We also offer a Click and Collect option at our fragrance outlet store, The Authorised Fragrance & Cosmetic Outlet, which is located at the lower level of Woodmead Value Mart Centre, Waterfall Cross Road, Johannesburg.

We currently only deliver during standard office/business hours (09h00 – 17h00), Monday to Friday, and do not deliver during public holidays or weekends.

We offer a Click and Collect option at our fragrance outlet store, The Authorised Fragrance & Cosmetic Outlet.

Orders placed online between Monday – Thursday midnight, can be collected from our Click and Collect depot from the following week Tuesday, during store opening times.

Orders placed online between Friday – Sunday midnight, can be collected from our Click and Collect depot from the following week Thursday, during store opening times.

Orders will only be kept at our Click and Collect depot for a maximum of 3 weeks, after which they will be returned to our warehouse and one of our Customer Service Consultants will be in touch to arrange an alternative delivery or collection option.

You can only collect your order during store opening times and a copy of your sales order confirmation, together with proof of identification, will be required when collecting your order. Without this we won’t be able to give you your order.

Once your order has been processed and dispatched from the African Sales Company warehouse, you will receive a sms or email with the shipping details from our courier partner.

Once our courier partner notifies you that they have your parcel, you can track your order by going to our courier partners’ website (www.courierit.co.za), click the ‘track it’ icon and enter your waybill number.

Changes to the delivery process have been made and contactless delivery will be available to limit the potential spread of Covid-19 in line with current guidelines on social distancing and the avoidance of close contact.

You do not personally have to sign for the delivery, as long as someone can accept the delivery on your behalf. However, if no one is available to accept the delivery, a second attempt to deliver your order will be made the next available business day. If the second delivery attempt fails, your order will be returned to African Sales Company and we will contact you to arrange new delivery instructions – please note that in this instance any additional delivery charges will be for your account unless otherwise stated.

If you request delivery to a residential complex or estate or to a business park, please include any special delivery instructions in the ‘special instructions’ section at the checkout. This may include access codes or if we should leave your parcel with security.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Products purchased in a retail store cannot be returned via www.africansalesfragrancesale.co.za and need to be handled within the retailer’s return policies. Only products purchased on www.africansalesfragrancesale.co.za will be considered for a refund or exchange.

We are unfortunately unable to return goods from Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland and Lesotho.

We have made returns and exchanges simple, ensuring we offer you the best customer service. You can arrange your return or exchange through our Returns and Exchanges Policy page, where you can complete the form and we will handle the rest.

Should you want or need to exchange any item(s) ordered from African Sales Fragrance Sale website, you have the option of returning or exchanging the item(s) within 10 business days of receiving it.

When processing a return or exchange, you have two options to best suit your requirements. These include:

  1. Full Payment Refund
  2. Exchange

If a return or exchange is due to a change of mind or incorrect product or sized ordered (i.e. not as a result of any error or liability on the part of African Sales Fragrance Sale), the cost of delivery will be for your account and will be deducted from the refund payment, exchange, replacement or repair allocated to you, and against the original purchase price of the item(s) you are returning or exchanging.

You will need to ensure the item being returned includes its original packaging. However, if you do not have the original packaging, please add the details in the message box when completing the returns form on our Returns and Exchanges Policy page – we will review the details and give you feedback on how we can still assist you.

It is important to note that items on this website are categorised as clearance items and therefore outer packaging of the products sold on this website may be dented or damaged. We do not guarantee outer packaging and will not be able to replace or exchange an item based on the outer packaging being dented or damaged.

To guarantee complete confidence, we have an easy and comprehensive returns and exchange policy and process.

In the unlikely event that the physical product is delivered to you in a damaged or faulty condition, we will arrange for a replacement of the same or similar items (where stock is available) and the associated collection and exchange through our courier partners. This may take place between 3 (three) -10 (ten) business days after the return or exchange has been confirmed by an African Sales Company Customer Service consultant in writing, typically via email.

As stock is limited, we cannot guarantee that there will always be stock of a particular product or line.

All prices displayed on this website are inclusive of Value Added Tax. At checkout you will also see the total VAT for that order.

ACCOUNT

No, you do not need an account to make a purchase online with us. We offer the option to purchase as a guest. However, we do encourage you to register an account with us, as this allows you to make future purchases easier and more convenient, as all your details will be saved.

At the bottom of the login page, you will see a Lost your password link. Click the link and enter your email address. You will receive an email allowing you to reset your password.

Once logged into your account, on your Dashboard, by clicking My Account, select Account Details and add or edit any of the fields; including First Name, Last Name, Email Address and even change your password.

NEWSLETTER

You can sign up easily to our newsletter. At the bottom of the website you will see a quick and easy “Sign Up” form, allowing you to enter your details and be added to our mailing list. To unsubscribe, you can do so via your Dashboard once logged into you account, or on the newsletters we send you, there will be an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email – click the link and follow the prompts to unsubscribe.

By signing up to our newsletter, you will be the first to know about sale information and news. Our newsletters include specials and information you want to know about.

PRIVACY & SECURITY

We do not save or collect any information from the users of this website. Cookies are used for tracking purposes and for session management.
